What does intercultural mean?

Being intercultural is a key to living a meaningful life in the current and future world.

Being intercultural is about knowing how human diversity affects one’s identity development, work competence, and life itself. Diversity is all around us. It encompasses both local and global diversity.

Why does the Helix model work?

Interculturalist works with individuals, teams, and organizations in various sectors—business, education, public and non-profit. We design and facilitate a process towards intercultural leadership so that you and your organization can build greater intercultural capacity.

Many organizations have done much work towards diversity and racism awareness. The question becomes: Now what? Where do we go from here? Our approach is to be that next step. We believe that awareness is not enough. We help individuals and organizations develop intercultural leadership.

For our intercultural training, coaching, and consultation, we listen to your needs and concerns as well as conduct necessary assessments.

We utilize all data, including statistical data that is objective and reliable, to tailor-make learning processes that best fit your needs.

Through the process of working with you, we will:

  • Capture the initial status of the way your organization and its leaders view "difference".

  • Design and facilitate solutions and educational interventions.

  • Monitor progression towards the goal of intercultural leadership and capacity building.

We meet you where you’re at, not where we think you should be. We are your partner in your developmental process toward intercultural leadership and capacity building.
